An exhilarating anthem bursting with emotion, “Would You Still Look at Me Like That?” is Tippin at his finest.

Tom Tippin has become a total standout with a streak of releases that are turning heads for all the right reasons. His latest drop, "Would You Still Look at Me Like That?", is a high-octane burst of adrenaline wrapped in heart and grit. True to Tom Tippin’s form, it’s packed with pulse-raising energy while sneaking in a message that hits deeper than you expect. The result? A track that fans aren’t just listening to, they’re feeling all the way through.

Right out the gate, "Would You Still Look at Me Like That?" punches the air with a massive, full-throttle intro that grabs your collar and shakes you into movement. It’s not just the kind of song that gets a crowd jumping. It’s the one that has you dancing around alone in your room like nobody’s watching. The beat drops into a slick, punchy drum interlude, and that’s when Tom Tippin slides in with a vocal delivery that instantly lights up the track.

At first, you might not clock it as a love song. It’s got too much swagger, too much power. But then it catches you off guard. The chiming guitars ring like bells, then suddenly disappear as the word love lands like a bolt from the blue. That’s the pivot. That’s the gut-check. From there, the chorus lifts off, and now you’re not just dancing. You’re thinking. Feeling. Wondering.

There’s something undeniably forward-thinking about the production here. It’s got a progressive pulse, with fast edits, cinematic reverb, whip-fast transitions, and even moments that feel like an anime sequence playing out in real time. There’s ear candy everywhere, and it’s delicious. Everything explodes into place with exhilarating shout-outs and sonic flurries that make this not just a banger but an absolute clinic in building tension, joy, and payoff in under three minutes.

And the lyrics? Wildly relatable and vividly drawn. When Tom Tippin sings:

“turn the Disney movie on / try to recollect my thoughts / let the time pass by and my mouth’s gone dry / oh God”,

he captures the stomach-flipping anxiety of trying to change a lifelong friendship into something more. Those words pull you right into that vulnerable headspace, that jittery, all-or-nothing moment when you’re balancing on the edge of love and fear.

Then there’s the kicker:

“I’ve got to know if you notice / can’t help, but think it makes sense / when you smile at me, I see more than friends.”

That line? That’s one of the most affecting lyrical punches we’ve heard all year. It lands straight in the heart. It’s hopeful, honest, and hits on that timeless feeling we all know too well, wanting something more and not knowing if it’s safe to ask for it. And the beauty of this story is in its ending. As no better love than to have a love of your lifetime being in love with you for his lifetime. It’s just heart-melting, and we love it.

As the song charges toward its close, the sound ramps up into a dizzying storm of guitars, vocals, and drive. It’s chaos in the best way. It feels like you’re inside Tom Tippin’s mind during the moment he finally takes the leap and lays it all on the line. When he asks:

"Would you still look at me like that?",

it doesn’t feel rhetorical. It feels raw, real, and risky. By the time the final notes hit, you’re breathless, not from exhaustion but from the emotional ride.

"Would You Still Look at Me Like That?" is another huge win for Tom Tippin. It’s bold, heartfelt, and built for repeat listens. It makes you want to root for the guy and scream along in support. When the awards roll in, because they will, you better believe his day-one fans will be sending flowers and blasting his anthems even louder.

Tom Tippin’s “Would You Still Look at Me Like That?” is a masterclass in vulnerability, craftsmanship, and pop brilliance

Tom Tippin’s rise hasn’t been some overnight fluke. It’s been a smart, steady build fueled by authenticity, clever artistry, and a work ethic that’s as real as his lyrics. His latest single, “Would You Still Look at Me Like That?”, is an indie rock anthem that dares to ask the question so many are too scared to voice, what happens if you risk a lifelong friendship for love?

Produced by Tom Tippin and Michael Guillot, it’s the second single from his upcoming debut album Thoroughbred, and it carries the weight of a real, lived-in story that makes every lyric hit harder.

Tom had known his now-fiancé his entire life. Their families grew up together, and their connection was always framed as friendship, until one weekend changed everything. After inviting her to a music festival in Louisville to see artist Patrick Droney, something shifted. The spark was undeniable. She was living nearby for college, and after that weekend, Tom found himself making more and more trips to Kentucky, chasing a feeling that kept growing stronger. One night, while watching Moana, the nerves became unbearable. He was so anxious he didn’t absorb a single moment of the movie. That night became the turning point. He confessed it all.

The hook of the song captures the vulnerability of that confession. He worried she’d never look at him the same again. He feared that even if she returned his feelings, it could cost them the bond they’d had since childhood. And yet, what happened was something even more beautiful, his best friend became his forever partner.

Now, with an upcoming fall tour alongside indie pop band Coastal Club and a full album on the horizon, Tom Tippin is proving he’s not just another artist on the rise. He’s a storyteller with sincerity, a performer with purpose, and an artist whose heart leads the way.

We’re so excited to know him and can’t wait to hear more from Tom Tippin!
