Clay DuBose turns 'Father Time & Mother Nature' into an electrifying Americana thrill ride packed with glowing guitars, alt-country excitement, and iconic vocal power.

Clay DuBose’s album Father Time & Mother Nature made us fall in love immediately. This electrifying album release, made by an industry veteran who went indie, proves that it was a terrific decision because not having a label looking over his shoulder resulted in some absolutely incredible work for us to bite into. On top of all this, the album is making waves across the world, especially in Texas.

Things really got hot with “Winning Streak.” The opening drum fill and glowing guitars felt like a rumbling musical war ready to wage, and its alt-country piano-fueled excitement was the perfect red carpet introduction for Clay DuBose’s incredible vocal display.

With an amazing flow and commanding baritone delivery, Clay DuBose sings with the voice of a true icon. His story-like style, combined with his long-held notes, was truly remarkable and created an exhilarating sensation for the listener.

We hear him sing:

“This could be the start of a winning streak”

These lyrics get stuck in your head instantly and also place your mind squarely in the heart of the Vegas Strip, envisioning the curl in Mr. Presley’s lip. It’s a true power play of words and outstanding performance skills that Clay DuBose wields like a superstar. Match this up with the imagery from the lyric video and it really makes you want to get up and dance. We loved the way he swoons through the phrase:

“Ready to leave all our worries behind”

There’s nobody out there who can match his energy and the thrill ride sensation this song creates.

“Dreams Come Untrue” is a song that, from the title alone, becomes impossible to pass up. The wordplay shows that Clay DuBose’s outstanding performance power is equally matched by the strength of the lyrics. The idea of being double crossed by someone who has returned to his life is driven by a storyline filled with clever, outside the box stylings. Clay DuBose defines his truly unique character with a country wordplay style, making broken dreams become "untrue," a phrase that feels both new and already legendary. The story of heartbreak, combined with the retooling of this worldwide known phrase, shows his skills are operating at the highest level.

Clay DuBose delivers a stunning vocal masterclass filled with timeless charisma and breathtaking power.

We wrapped it all up with “Scotch And Soda,” and this was the perfect sendoff we could never have expected, but absolutely appreciated. Featuring an absolutely amazing display of stunning vocals, this song proves Clay DuBose is unleashed and ready to serenade the world. The choice of musical accompaniment was pure, as the soft, gentle strumming sets the tone while also allowing this magical voice to shine. It’s a perfect last chapter to an amazing collection of songs. His singing style and talent are worthy of recognition at the highest levels. Clay DuBose is absolutely crushing it with this sound.

Father Time & Mother Nature is a total powerhouse of an album, and we know it’s going to help burn a lot of rubber on the way to Vegas. We definitely recommend you get a taste of the luck this album will no doubt bring.
