Ceyeo’s 'Walls of Love' Explodes With Powerful Vocals, Growling Indie Rock Energy, And Unforgettable Artistic Fire
Wasting no time, Ceyeo jumps into the musical landscape with the explosive and powerful EP ‘Walls of Love’.
When we started the opening track “Invitation,” we knew the vocal delivery and stylings of Ceyeo were sure to become a quick audience favorite. First of all, he has terrific storyteller like enunciation. With a rhythm and cadence that pulses, along with exciting drops and pauses, his sound and feel are hard to replicate, leaving the listener with a refreshing sensation. The drum entrance is bold but also elusive. It drives in slowly and then throws in very exciting, tantalizing fills. When the whole arrangement gets into gear, it’s like a growling, 90s-styled indie rock thriller. It’s impossible to not love and appreciate the slow, drum-driven, foot-stomp chorus parts that will definitely be a huge hit for live audiences.
Next up we heard “Walls of Love (Producer Version),” which comes in slowly, but with an exhilarating, dynamic volume increase, combined with an exciting drum opening that really has a drive that captures your attention. Once again, the vocal delivery was a real standout. The long-held notes and glowing tone could easily be on a worldwide hit ballad. The low, gravelly but smooth style of Ceyeo’s voice is truly unforgettable. We have already become fans after just two songs and can’t wait for more.
We wrapped things up with “Back to Love,” which has an echo-filled arrangement with chiming guitars that bursts into a hair-in-the-wind flow. The inspiring and emotional lyrics will instantly bring warmth to your heart.
