Hendrix Frankenreiter Opens A Breezy New Chapter With “Wanna Go” Backed By Severance Records And Big Loud Rock
Hendrix Frankenreiter steps into a serious new industry moment with “Wanna Go,” his label debut through Severance Records in partnership with Big Loud Rock. The Hawaii-based singer, songwriter, guitarist, and surfer arrives with real momentum behind him, from millions of streams to a growing live presence, and now a team connected to some major names in modern rock and alternative music.
Produced and co-written by Adam Friedman, whose credits include Quinn XCII, Mike Posner, and O.A.R., “Wanna Go” brings out Hendrix’s easygoing warmth, sharp songwriting, and emotionally grounded vocal delivery. The track has that breezy, sunlit pull, but it also carries the kind of polished confidence that makes this new chapter sound much bigger than a simple debut.
The signing itself adds even more weight. Severance Records President Steve “Stevo” Robertson discovered Hendrix after seeing him perform at The Peppermint Club in Los Angeles, while Big Loud Co-Founder and Big Loud Rock President Joey Moi is also backing the release. That puts Hendrix inside a powerful ecosystem tied to Big Loud Rock, Severance Records, and a roster connected to HARDY, Dexter and The Moonrocks, Jagwar Twin, Blame My Youth, Letdown., Edgehill, Liam St. John, Zoe Ko, MOD SUN, and more.
At 22, Hendrix Frankenreiter already has a strong story, shaped by Hawaii, Kauai, surf culture, nature, global travel, and life as the son of pro-surfer and musician Donovan Frankenreiter. After “Wise Beyond Words” and his independent Took A Hit EP, “Wanna Go” sounds like the moment where everything starts moving faster.
Listen to “Wanna Go” now and follow Hendrix Frankenreiter as this next wave begins.
