White Novels releases “Circles” and it shows us sometimes we just need to break away and heal.

Leading the opening to this song is a very (let's give it 2 very's) impressive vocal performance. The vocals are the absolute standout of this recording. Reminding me of the control and power of Chris Martin I think this song is a power ballad that delivers without reservation. The vocals are stellar, clean, and soaring (a word used a lot but definitely earned on this track).

I felt the piano accompaniment is perfect in sound. The keys create a tense but pretty emotional setting that makes me sway but also know tears are likely what drew the inspiration for this. There is also a difference to this song as opposed to many others. This song isn't happy, but it does have a resolution, and that made this more empowering to the listener.

Most songs usually end badly but this protagonist "is taking on the world" and finds a solution to his emotional dilemma…and that made me feel better somehow. I needed a happy ending to a story today and I got one. I also got an amazing performance.
