The Sunday Shamans Deliver A Killer And Hypnotic Release With The Tremendous "Where You Begin"

The Sunday Shamans dropped "Where You Begin" and with its accompanying video, this was a killer release from a band we can’t believe we only recently found.
This song gets into your brain and becomes part of your emotions in a way you would never expect. We found this out ourselves after listening to it the first 4-5 times in a row, and the way it embeds into your mind is amazing and almost surgical.
With a vocal presentation that blends crooning, swooning, high power, and intensity, you feel serenaded and hypnotized, not just by the vocals, but by each carefully placed component of the song. Visually, the music video has you in the streets of London, we think, following a skateboarder’s morning. With such zest and an exude of life, you immediately want to know where his day is taking him.
Then the hum and grit of the guitars combine to make the sound feel like the energy propelling our main character skateboarder forward. It’s an acoustic and electric combination that’s really amazing. Then the vocals come in with an entrancing and beautiful presentation, crisp and clear, but also so incredibly expressive, delivering long-held notes you will love.
The almost unending volley of guitars becomes the break, then reintroduces the story, and by now you realize you have lost all idea of anything around you and are fully immersed. Then the “I want to knowwww” moment arrives, propelled once again by driven guitars and drums blasting away, leaving you wildly impressed.
What continues to impress is the incredible musicianship. The performance has those dueling musician moments that go beyond enjoyment and become the kind of moments you memorize and yearn for when reaching those perfect milestones, especially the breaks and spotlight highlights. Also, the video edits and band cameos mixed in with our skateboarder were a great touch.
We finish by seeing him quickly disappear into the cityscape, making us hope the next video is a part two, because we want more of this awesome music creativity.
"Where You Begin" by The Sunday Shamans was probably the most fun review we’ve done in months, and we are truly excited to recommend and share this tremendous release.
