The Expo Feel Impossible To Look Away From As “Eclipse” Lands With Explosive Guitars, Fearless Engineering, And Breakout Energy

Drop everything because the energy of “Eclipse” by The Expo feels like a game changer, and The Expo themselves are impossible to look away from.
With a high-energy flow, “Eclipse” delivered by The Expo will absolutely make powerful waves in the music industry, because we see it as a defining arrival moment. “Eclipse” has so many breakout and legendary qualities that we have so much to highlight. Right off the bat, the explosive reverberated guitars are an absolute thrill. Like a laser beam set to machine-gun cycle, the waves of soul repeat and flow, feeling like energy blasts. This was definitely the most creative start to a song we’ve heard all year. This definitely felt like late 80s, early 90s reel-to-reel flow. Then the drum fills and endless grit of the guitars create a fantastic red carpet moment to deliver the vocal performance. The Expo’s powerful and commanding delivery is hypnotic and makes you want to start a party if you aren’t already at one. This energy and flow sit on top of a thick, rumbling disco-era bassline that’s the perfect match for the vocal styling. The delivery is so unique and has a sexy but strong appeal that flows and flies over your head like an eagle soaring. We have barely made it past 1:00 and we are totally hooked.
Then the bass and laser-esque notes pull into a solo that sounds like a battle among the instruments, with a volley of sound bouncing all over your headphones.
Midway, we get even more electric guitars, that fat bass, and cascading notes that move into a harrowing but also really impressive vocal solo. This explosive moment is the breakout moment we loved, as The Expo tears through the airwaves.
The outro brings even more boundary-breaking, fearless engineering with the chiming bells. It’s unexpected and felt like the icing on this terrific and amazing release.
What we feel this song does that we have not heard before is blend styles and genres like rock, darkwave, pop, and much more, plus styles that are so innovative they have no current title, to create a unique blend that literally has not been put in front of us before. The thinking outside the box and creativity is on full display, with The Expo proving they not only have the ability and talent, they aren’t afraid to challenge the system’s limits.
