Then we hit “The Fade Out,” which, despite its title, comes in heavy and relentless. With a metallic undercurrent and pounding drums, it feels like a tidal force. The guitars rise and fall with the weight of a ship battling the sea, each strum building to a climax. There’s a moment when everything pauses. Then the heavily strummed guitars return with crushing intent, accompanied by layered vocals that absolutely soar. What ultimately left the deepest impression is how impossible it became to pick a favorite track. Every song on Break My Heart (Part I) feels like its own world.
