GISKE’s “August Came” Captures Breathtaking Brilliance With Relaxing Euphoria, Gentle Melancholy, And A Lofty Sense Of Calm.

“August Came” by GISKE opens with a relaxing and euphoric sound that makes this song one of the top ten releases we have experienced this year.

Capturing the essence of decades of sound, this performance is a masterpiece of execution. The harmonica-filled, sweeping notes create a magical feeling in the heart and mind of the audience. These notes are wrapped around a catchy and rhythmic guitar with gentle drumbeat support. Then, a gentle transition gives off a 90s big indie band vibe, and it’s an excellent way to spotlight these amazing vocals. With a series of long pauses in between lyrical phrases, this delivery feels lofty and gives off a sensation of complete calm.

The lyrical choice feels like a huge component of the song’s magnetic appeal as well.

“If you can’t find it here. If it all seems to fade”

These words invoke thought and make you actually follow along with every notion, creating a trust and bond between singer and listener. With this, a true sense of calm is created. By the time the song is done, you are already completely drained of all stresses, and it’s the song’s slight melancholy and folk essence that creates this. GISKE is not trying to make you happy, but it manages to do that anyway. This method was actually a terrific immersive technique.

“August Came” Delivers A Rarely Achieved Sense Of Peace Through Stunning Songcraft And Immersive Beauty.

“August Came” by GISKE is like a gentle gust of wind on a warm summer night and leaves the listener totally elated, and we absolutely loved it.

Maybe it’s fate, or the island of Giske, where the magic of this band’s songs is born, but this dedicated team of artists really knows how to shape a song and leave an air of breathtaking brilliance in their wake.
