We discovered C-Beem, and the compelling narrative and vivid imagery surrounding the artist immediately drew us into their musical world of the album Oberon Effect, and we wanted to share some of the reasons we felt this work of art is so amazing
The title track ,"Oberon Effect" and its harrowing yet ethereal opening quickly gives way to exhilarating synths, underpinned by a full and thunderous bass that creates an immersive foundation. When the vocals arrive, the song transforms into a Broadway-level performance, evoking the grandeur of a cinematic score for a futuristic realm. C-Beem delivers a vocal execution unlike anything we’ve encountered before, commanding, expressive, and undeniably authentic. The interplay between spoken word and soaring sung exclamations creates a hypnotic, almost magnetic force that pulls the listener deeper into an enigmatic world they never knew existed. The lyrics, delivered with a jubilant energy, declare musings like:
"Can’t get over"
"Little boy running so fast through the trees"
These words paint a scene of unfiltered brilliance, a universal and deeply evocative vision. C-Beem masterfully crafts a lyrical landscape that transports the listener’s mind, offering a perfect snapshot of youthful wonder. Instinctively, our imagination conjured a world where sentient creatures peek from behind trees, inviting us into their harmonious existence, a realm filled with boundless joy, where innocence and imagination intertwine to shape the reality we create each day.

This ability to transform sound and stories into an expansive, personal vision is an extraordinary achievement, and this really created an amazing listening experience.

What truly stood out was C-Beem's remarkable vocal performance, soft and resonant yet commanding and powerful. His tone and cadence highlighted an impressive vocal range, effortlessly drawing listeners in. We can't emphasize enough how brilliant the vocals were. Additionally, the guitar solo was perfectly placed and delivered with striking precision. With this song, C-Beem proves that his musical creativity knows no boundaries.
That boundless creativity shines through in "Happy Cactus Man", a track that bursts with a vibrant disco groove, energetic claps, and cascading synths, making it an irresistible dancefloor anthem. This album is a treasure trove of musical gems, ensuring there's something for everyone to love.

Every element sounds crystal clear, with a meticulous presentation that allows the vocals to blend seamlessly into the fabric of the song’s existence. This fourth album, Oberon Effect, is a testament to this approach, channeling a sense of enchantment that feels both deeply personal and universally resonant. The title itself stems from a vivid childhood memory of racing through Charnwood Forest, an ancient woodland in Leicestershire, where the towering trees and whispering leaves created an almost otherworldly embrace. That feeling of joyful immersion, of being momentarily consumed by something vast and alive, pulses at the heart of the album’s sonic landscape.
A deep admiration for artists like Kate Bush informs C-Beem’s ethos, a belief in music liberated from the constraints of urban convention, free to explore dreamlike, untrodden paths.
