The Start of Something Beautiful was brought to life at Zigzag Studio in Woolwich, perched atop a warehouse in the Dockyard Industrial Estate. The album took shape over several focused weeks with support from Tom Baird, a gifted engineer, producer, and guitarist, along with Ed, an old friend whose expressive sax performances brought an added emotional dimension.
The project embraces the spirit of a concept album, following the story of a woman who slips away to Paris and the man set on finding her, all carried by a sound that’s cinematic, adventurous, and beautifully charged with emotion.
