Liz Mann’s “Cinnamon” Brings A Magnetic, Sultry Pop Fantasy To Life With Glowing 90’s Synths And Euphoric Dance Floor Energy

Liz Mann, with the massive release “Cinnamon,” brings the contemporary pop world together with all the best of 90’s synths, creating a magnetic sound that is definitely going to be on repeat around the world.

The opening notes, with the humming and glowing foundation and a retro-infused recording process, feel like a fantasy come to life because this song captures the sounds of the past so beautifully, it’s as if we dusted off a long-lost, never-heard-before vinyl 12” record.

The beat is powerful and striking, with that electric-outlined sound, and the “rimshot” cascading drum fills are quintessential 90’s staples.

It’s as if she’s locked in a gaze with the audience while performing in a smoke-filled room. Then the cute, almost innocent, tongue-in-cheek references to cinnamon and honey become not-so-hidden extensions of the message that Liz Mann is definitely interested in the subject of this song, bringing a tantalizing atmosphere to the entire scene.

Liz Mann’s “Cinnamon” Turns Retro-Infused Pop Into A Sultry, Magnetic, Dance Floor-Ready Standout.

Mixed in are the ear-candy beat dropouts and halo-overlaid mixes that leave a wispy cloud of sound flowing through the siren synths. It nails that euphoric dance floor hook structure.

“Cinnamon” is the kind of music release that will be creating a lot of irl connections.

With breathy, long-held notes, especially the consistently held ends of phrases aligned with the flowing, cyclical bass, there is a very noticeable tactic that truly gives this song a timestamp from the past, but defines its unique flavor as Liz Mann’s very own.

Taking the best parts of the past and then reengineering them into a sound that feels totally new was a huge win for us. It keeps Liz Mann at the top of a short list of artists we see breaking major milestones in the very near future.
