Fredrika Rei’s 'all the feelings' is a stunning, genre-bending masterpiece that you can’t afford to overlook

Fredrika Rei's latest EP, 'all the feelings' has arrived and hit us like a storm; its emotional depth and vibrant energy pulling us in immediately for an immersive journey through her dynamic sound.

Starting with "just love (welcome)", the track opens with an almost hypnotic allure, quickly drawing the listener into its mesmerizing blend of synths and vocals. The way the song flows, with its intricate layering of reverberating melodies, establishes Fredrika as a producer who understands the power of both atmosphere and momentum. Her vocal delivery here is uniquely captivating, supported by a bassline that adds weight to every word. The seamless balance between the ethereal and the grounded creates a thrilling contrast, setting the stage for what’s to come.

Following that, "Slayer" takes over, and with its name, it promises nothing short of sonic carnage; and it delivers in spades. The track's energetic pulse is irresistible, as the frantic, percussive beats combine with metallic synths to create an atmosphere that's both chaotic and infectious. As the vocals unfold, the lyrical intensity and infectious rhythm embody a sense of fierce rebellion.

“White trash black heart maybe you’re not smart / did you have a bad start”

—it’s raw, unfiltered, and absolutely exhilarating. Then, when Fredrika belts out:

“I’m the motherfucking slayer”

it’s the moment that pulls you fully into her world, leaving you no choice but to become an avid fan. The surge of sound here feels like a tidal wave, overwhelming and utterly satisfying.

The energy continues in "Giulietta", where Fredrika brings a haunting intensity that digs deep into the emotional core of the listener. The bassy undertones rattle the virtual ground beneath you, while the raw power of the track explodes into a wall of sound that’s impossible to ignore. The blend of electronic intensity with her visceral delivery makes this song another standout on the EP. It was impossible for us to pick a single track as the definitive high point of the EP; "Giulietta" kept raising the bar, further cementing the EP’s overall strength.

As we reach "lose my cool", the tone shifts dramatically, but Fredrika’s creative range is fully on display. The track opens with delicate, breathy vocals, revealing a softer side that contrasts yet complements the intensity of the previous songs. This gentler mood builds into a soaring crescendo, where the vocals seamlessly intertwine with hyper-pop beats. The production here is masterful, with each element, synths, beats, and vocals, woven together to create a dynamic tension that remains emotionally charged. The balance of vulnerability and power in the song serves as a testament to Fredrika's versatility as both an artist and a producer.

The technical side of the EP is equally impressive. Fredrika Rei’s meticulous production shines through, with engineering work that stands out as exceptionally clean. Each element is precisely mixed, ensuring every sound has its place without losing the integrity of the whole. The clarity of the vocals and instruments in the mix creates a sense of space, allowing each layer to be fully appreciated. Fredrika’s attention to detail results in a polished, vibrant presentation that amplifies her emotional storytelling, leaving a lasting impression with every track.
