Sarah Anne Fernandez releases "Plot Twist" and it's the best damn one this summer!
Bassy beginnings open this song to carry the very well-sung vocals of Sarah Anne Fernandez on "Plot Twist" and she delivers everything from fun and poppy to breathy to danceable. Our favorite part was "You stole my heart like some kind of crook" and then the belting vocals to follow singing "You got me so damn hooked". Musically we have a fun and energetic but not taking itself too seriously synth-laden track that has a ton of "ear candy" keeping the listener entertained. I think this song would be great in a rom-com when the main protagonists are running and (trying to solve the conflict) and in this case (of course) it turns out to be "The best damn plot twist" and love is discovered!
In addition to the standout vocal performance, we felt the subsequent synth-laden harmony vocals were equally a creative win. Sarah Fernandez, a singer-songwriter is passionate about creating music that pivots on storytelling and honesty. Finally, the engineering and recording of this track is crystal clean and is radio ready and we expect we will hear it there soon as well.
