Fearless, explosive, and unforgettable—EMM’s stage presence redefines what it means to be a live artist.
EMM blew it out of the water at The Roxy Theatre on June 10, with an electric lineup that only added to the explosive energy of the night. From the moment she stepped on stage, EMM, already iconic and defiant, proved once again why she’s a talent you can’t box in.
Cage Riot was in the building, and we witnessed it all firsthand!

Her performance was nothing short of otherworldly. With a stage presence that commands attention and a voice that shatters any limit, EMM radiates star power. Every movement, every note, every moment was intentional and alive with force. The sheer impact of her vocal delivery, paired with the emotional intensity she pours into her set, makes it crystal clear. This is what happens when drive meets destiny.
If you haven’t seen EMM live, you’re not getting the full picture. Watching her perform in person reveals a level of precision, passion, and power that recordings can’t capture. Her live show doesn’t just entertain. It engulfs. Her massive, cinematic production still feels deeply personal.
EMM’s sound defies boxes. She merges alternative pop, electro-pop, and dark pop with the grit of rock, the edge of industrial, and the soul of R&B. You feel her in every detail.

Beyond the sonic mastery, her message cuts deep. EMM uses her platform to call out oppressive systems, corporate, religious, and cultural, that try to silence the vulnerable. Her music isn’t just personal. It’s political. It's a protest wrapped in an anthem.
She delivers those themes through flawless choreography, voice, costume, and presence, all with the seamless precision of someone trained for this moment their whole life with unwavering heart. Alongside her team of exceptional dancers, the visual and emotional punch of her set is unmatched. It’s not just a show. It’s a full-body experience. Every beat hits harder and every lyric lands sharper. Underneath all that boldness is a real and raw vulnerability that opens up her world to anyone ready to listen.
Experiencing EMM live reminds you why live music matters. You leave knowing you’ve witnessed something real and something transformative. This is an artist on the rise, yes. More than that, she’s a force already shaping the future.
kate the dreamer

The supporting lineup that night was equally unforgettable, and kate the dreamer lit up the room with her signature style: intimate, ethereal, and emotionally potent.
We’ve followed her for years, and every time she steps on stage, she reminds us why she’s one of LA’s most captivating performers. Her storytelling cuts straight through, creating an instant connection with the audience that feels deeply personal.
Seeing her live once is never enough. She’s magnetic.

Her sound is cinematic with vocals that feel both weightless and piercing. There’s a softness to her delivery, sometimes whisper-like, sometimes fragile, but always grounded in real feelings.
Additionally, her charisma and charm naturally draw you in. The production around her always complements that tone, filled with lush textures and space that allow her voice to breathe and resonate.
Natalie Claro

Natalie Claro's vocals were as fierce as her presence. They were sharp, unfiltered, and fully committed.
What also made her set unforgettable was her fearless connection with the audience. She doesn’t hold back. She brings you all the way in.

Claro and her band brought pure fire to the stage. It was a blast of high-octane energy with a double-drum attack that drove the crowd into a frenzy.
The Mannequins (photos coming soon)
The Mannequins launched the night with a high-voltage performance that was both sonically and visually explosive. Their show is a genre-melding blend of dance, music, and spectacle. It immediately took the crowd to eleven. We hadn’t seen The Mannequins live before. Now, we’re fully converted fans!
EMM, kate the dreamer, Natalie Claro, and The Mannequins turned The Roxy into a full-throttle, high-voltage masterclass.
The entire night was hosted by the always impressive and artist-supportive Goldenvoice, the powerhouse behind iconic festivals like Coachella Valley Music & Arts Festival and Stagecoach: California’s Country Music Festival. In addition to producing over 2,000 concerts annually across California, Arizona, Nevada, and Hawaii, they also operate some of the most legendary venues in Los Angeles and the Bay Area, including The Fonda, The Roxy, El Rey, The Novo, Shrine Auditorium & Expo Hall, The Regency Ballroom, The Warfield, and the Empire Polo Fields. Founded in the early 1980s by Gary Tovar as an independent punk-rock promoter, Goldenvoice has since evolved into Southern California’s leading force in alternative music promotion.
We can’t finish without shouting out the team at The Roxy Theatre. Their professionalism, hospitality, and commitment to putting on an impeccable show were on full display. Every artist was treated like a headliner, and the staff made sure every part of the night was seamless. It’s rare to see a venue run with this level of care and excellence from top to bottom, but this is one of the reasons they are iconic.
What we witnessed that night wasn’t just a concert; it was a statement. EMM, her team, and the entire lineup showed what happens when talent, message, and momentum collide. This is music that moves, that speaks, and that stays with you.
We’ll be watching every step from here.
