Bury The Pines deliver a powerhouse surge of emotion and energy on their bold album Industry Plant.

Bury The Pines comes out swinging, and when word hit that they dropped an album we stopped everything to dive in. The fire running through Industry Plant is undeniable and the band’s cohesive energy turns every second into a standout moment in their growing legacy. What also hits instantly is how confidently they move as a five piece, each part locking into place with intention and heart. This is a release that feels like a milestone and reads like a mission statement. One listen and you know they came here to make waves. “Bury The Pines sound like a band stepping fully into their moment.”

"A Perfect Tomorrow" is the curtain-opener, which erupts with exhilarating, high powered energy and a dynamite flow that sets the exact tone Industry Plant promises. The wild edits, blazing drums, and lion roar vocals chase your mind in the best way, all while a surge of guitars and synths rolls in like a tsunami. And what also stands out is how beautiful the delivery is, performed with drops and flows that underline just how tuned in this band is to their own vision. The vocal fire, the layered instrumentation, the showmanship, the soul, everything stacks into a moment that feels huge. The midpoint’s electric, fast paced burst, paired with a call and response between lead vocals and backups, takes the track into a realm of creativity with no borders. “This opener makes it clear that the band came to raise the bar, then leap over it.”

Next up, we stopped on "Hearts On Fire," and what’s on fire is absolutely this track. Blazing keys and guitars duel with the drums in a way that feels cinematic, and what follows is a sweep of emotional lyrics that offer the listener so much to take in, all of it delivered with clarity and heat. The standout here is the smattering of textures that pop through the mix. Jazzy, resonating guitars pave the way for psychedelic screams, then flow back into soaring vocal runs carrying a powerful message. The whole thing grabs you by the collar and refuses to let go. “Every second of this track feels alive, urgent, and ready to lift the room.”

"Jade Shadow," (featuring Sam from Stay Gone,) opens with a tongue in cheek love-story declaration that lands an instant smile, and what also hits fast is how there is zero wasted time getting into the heat of the song. Chants and blazing instrumentation create a full throttle rush that makes this an instant windows-down, volume-all-the-way-up anthem. Following that is a midpoint blast of adrenaline that elevates everything around it, especially with the stacked vocals that make the performance feel huge. The outro descends into a controlled chaos that is nothing short of euphoric and left us wanting to hit replay right away. “It’s the kind of track that reminds you how thrilling a band can sound when every member is all in.”

The production brings what feels like a real and genuine performance, and what also shines is how each track carries the energy of a one take session, as if the band walked into the room, lit the place up, and the engineers simply protected the raw texture of the moment. Every tone feels preserved, every dynamic feels intentional, and the overall vibe captures the magic of musicians locked in with each other. They didn’t just record these songs, they documented a performance, and they did it beautifully. “The production treats the band’s chemistry like something worth protecting, and the payoff is enormous.”

This level of talent signals big things ahead for this artist, and we’re excited to follow their journey as they continue to rise. Definitely check the album Industry Plant, because it shows exactly why Bury The Pines are becoming a force worth watching. “This album is proof that their momentum is only just beginning.”

Bury The Pines shine with unstoppable momentum as Industry Plant cements their most exhilarating era yet.

Bury The Pines carry a sound built on years of shared history and a drive that runs deep through their Cleveland roots. Formed officially in 2023, the lineup of Marcus Smith on vocals, Joe Skowronski on lead guitar, Evan Hendrix on rhythm guitar, Nick Fischer on bass, and Mat Markuz on drums gives the band a dynamic structure, with each member bringing experience from past projects that sharpened their instincts and broadened their musical vocabulary. And what also stands out is how naturally their chemistry translates into a unified creative voice.

Their work on Industry Plant reflects a collective passion for crafting bold, layered arrangements shaped by a wide mix of influences. Each member’s individual background feeds into a vibrant blend of progressive rock, pop punk, emo, and post hardcore, creating a voice that feels versatile and energized. Guided and engineered by Evan Hendrix in Cleveland, the recording process became a space for experimentation, especially with guitar textures and stacked vocal parts. The group leaned into their love of intricate layers, building songs with multiple tones, harmonies, and rhythmic patterns that add dimension without losing clarity. This approach not only showcases their technical skill, it also captures the spark of musicians who thrive in a hands on creative environment.

As the project came together, the band found themselves more inspired than they expected, expanding what was originally planned as an EP into their first full length album. Following that momentum, they shaped a release that highlights their growth, their connection, and their commitment to elevating their craft. Their collaboration with Sam of Stay Gone on "Jade Shadow" underscores the strong relationships they’ve built within their scene.

We're so excited to have found them and can’t wait to hear more from the incredibly talented Bury The Pines!
