Kapture is ready to give her newfound fans exactly what they are craving. July 14, 2023, marks the monumental release of “Compare To Me ft. Jamie Love.”
Bassy pop drops hard to open this rap track. Then with a perfect, unique sounding, and a tongue-twisting swirl of rap lyrics (whew that was hard for even me to read and I just wrote that shit) you CAN keep up with the tempo - but if you want to keep up with the rap, you are probably going to need a fast car!!
The rap just moves at a rocketship's pace. Sharing the track is Jamie Love is the featured artist on this track and together she and Kapture are fire. The lyrics on this track are superbly written and well-written rap is hard to accomplish because it has so many layers.
The speed, attitude and comedy component (c'mon good rap is chuckle-worthy - 2 Chainz & Givenchy or Drake & I'm on a roll I was made for all of this shit plus half of Kanye - and add a heaping serving of dis you and dismiss you - you need it all and this song delivers.
Finally, it has to be authentic to the artist's flavor and character and be believable to be entertaining. I really felt this song was genuinely delivered and the artists feel what they perform. It's not an act and there's no "action" or "cut", it's just who they are. In addition, the well-sung opening is also a big plus! Sing, rap and write good lyrics, it's a multiple-threat level.
